“Sandefjord is a typical summer city on the south coast of Norway where the population doubles in the summer months from May to mid-August. It is mostly Norwegians who camp or have cabins in the area that are visiting. All summer the city is buzzing with life. Then at the second weekend in August summer holidays end, and it is like a switch gets turned off and everyone leaves. Even the inhabitants seem to go into hiding.” – Anette Asbjørnrød
