Dan Root: New York Bars at Dawn

At their most hushed...

Dan Root is one of New York’s early morning wanderers, enjoying the streets before even the earliest of drinkers is after a Bloody Mary (which they can anyway get at the diner). His book “New York Bars at Dawn” presents some two hundred of Dan’s “bar portraits.” A trip down memory lane for me, and frankly, I could use a drink… Welcome to 2025. Cheers.
