In Terri Gold’s ongoing series she captures the traditions of disappearing indigenous cultures and explores “universal cross-cultural truths.” The Omo Valley is in southern Ethiopia, in Africa’s Great Rift Valley. It is known for its culture and diversity and for the discovery there of the earliest human fossils.
